Works are being performed for the company 3R Petroleum in the fields of Polo Macau in Río Grande del Norte.

PECOM informs that on 30 May, Operation and Maintenance services were started for the company 3R Petroleum in their 7 fields of gas and oil located in Polo Macau, Río Grande del Norte, Brazil.

For this operation, PECOM set up a team of collaborators, who perform their tasks under strict safety measures and following the Covid 19 protocols both from PECOM and from the hiring company.

Polo Macau includes the fields of Aratum, Lagoa Aroeira, Macau, Serra, Salina Cristal, Porto Carão and Sanhaçu, and it is located 200 km away from the city of Natal. The overall oil and gas production from these fields is of approximately five thousand barrels of oil equivalent a day.

“We are very happy and proud of this achievement. It is the first time that PECOM provides operation and the maintenance services of oil and gas fields in Brazil” expressed Javier Gremes Lamb, PECOM CEO.

The Operation and Maintenance services add to the activity of commercialization of cavity pumps for oil production developed by PECOM in Brazil.
